[Explanation] Putting the drawing board on the bed, holding the brush between her fingers, and dipping the paint bit by bit, her painting method is completely different from others.

The woman in the picture, Zhang Junli, is a paralyzed rheumatoid arthritis patient. She overcame many difficulties and drew her own star and sea on a small drawing board.

[Commentary] Zhang Junli, born in 1978, should have had a carefree childhood like other children, but she was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis when she was 6 years old, and was paralyzed at the age of 8, and has been bedridden since then. .

Self-taught comics, sketches, and through painting, Zhang Junli has a new life.

Painting to me is like the light in the dark night.

Because of it, after being paralyzed in bed for so many years, I was able to persevere and face every day with an upward mentality.

So painting is the most important thing in life for me.

[Explanation] In 2015, Zhang Junli began to teach herself oil painting.

Because the joints of her hands were necrotic, she stuck the paintbrush between her fingers, and used her shoulder to carry the paintbrush when painting.

The arm range is not large enough to complete large-scale works, so she put several works together.

So far, she has created more than 500 oil paintings.

Some people don't even have fingers, they don't even have arms, and they can draw very well with their mouths on the pen.

So when I have some inconveniences on my hands, I don't think I have any difficulty, but I think that if others can overcome it, so should I.

[Explanation] After hard practice, Zhang Junli's oil painting skills have become more and more solid, and have been recognized by professionals. Netizens call her "Van Gogh in the hospital bed".

With blue sky and white clouds, mountains and grasslands, green lakes and lakes, most of Zhang Junli's works are landscape paintings.

Due to her limited mobility, her creative inspiration can only come from the Internet or photos from friends' travels.

In 2016, Zhang Junli opened an online store called "Lily's Easel" and began to sell works.

I don't want them to buy my work out of support, or out of pity.

Tell them every time that you must buy this painting if you really like it.

[Explanation] In September 2021, Zhang Junli's condition worsened, her joints were swollen and painful, and her weight dropped from more than 50 pounds to 40 pounds. She was relieved after hospitalization.

My hand now hurts a little longer when this joint is next to each other.

If the control is not good, there will always be a hole, that is, all the joints in these parts of the body will be directly broken and bleeding.

Then there will be some subcutaneous nodules on the body, and one by one is also very painful.

Trying to get it under control.

[Commentary] Zhang Junli's parents are in their 70s. In order to take care of Zhang Junli, her father specializes in learning injections, while her mother stays by the bedside all day.

[Concurrent] Zhang Junli's mother Zhang Yu'e

Although disabled, she is very strong.

We hope she can become a little painter in the future, the painter in her heart.

[Explanation] Zhang Junli's biggest dream has always been to hold a personal oil painting exhibition.

At present, she has selected hundreds of oil paintings and is actively organizing an exhibition.

She hopes to hang her favorite Chaka Salt Lake works in the exhibition.

  [Concurrent] Zhang Junli

In the two paintings of the Sky Mirror, I have a little girl running on the screen.

So I imagined that the little girl was me, and those two paintings were very meaningful to me.

My next dream might be to accomplish what I want to do in Chaka Salt Lake.

Because I'm particularly fascinated by this place in Sky Mirror.

So I wanted to see it for myself.
