In Seine-Saint-Denis, 300 new places in student housing

The regional center for university and school works (Crous) will open a new university residence in Villetaneuse (Seine-Saint-Denis).

A government promise to Ile-de-France students

In total, the residences managed by the Crous of the Créteil Academy (Val-de-Marne) will welcome 1,751 additional students at the start of the 2026 school year. These new accommodations will bring the total accommodation capacity in the territory to 7,057 places. .

This expansion of the housing stock comes after the government undertook to offer accommodation to 20,000 additional students in Ile-de-France by 2022.
