Asala Nasri apologizes to the Palestinians after offending them

The artist, Asala, was subjected to harsh criticism and a sharp attack from her followers on social networking sites in the Arab world in general and in Palestine in particular, due to her placing an admiration mark on a tweet on Twitter.

The crisis began when Asala expressed her admiration for an insulting tweet to the State of Palestine, in which he said: “I went into it, Putin, as long as the Palestinians are standing with you, the Palestinians have not stood with a state without losing it.”

In turn, Asala justified that she did not read the entire publication before she did this, and that she never intended to do so, but some commented that this mistake is unforgivable, especially since her two sons are from her ex-husband of Palestinian origin, and therefore she should be one of the most supportive artists for the Palestinian cause.

Asala tried to fix the matter, and apologized to her fans through a tweet on (Twitter), in which she said: (Sometimes I like quickly without knowing the content of the tweet, and this is not considered a justification for what I did, but I will not repeat it again).

Some of Asala's followers believed that this was an unintended mistake and that she did not intentionally offend the Palestinian people, whom she defended on many occasions and presented them with patriotic songs.
