In an effort to help Ukrainian residents suffering from a military invasion by Russia, a restaurant at Akita Airport has begun an initiative to donate part of the sales of Akita's specialty Inaniwa udon, which is sold for souvenirs.

This initiative was started on the 15th by a restaurant chain headquartered in Akita City at a restaurant at Akita Airport.

If you buy Inaniwa udon for souvenirs sold at the store, 30% of the sales will go to the support of Ukrainians.

The store will carry out this effort until the 22nd of this month, and the collected donations will be sent to the Ukrainian embassy.

In addition, the soba restaurant in front of JR Akita Station and the restaurant in Oga City, which are run by the same restaurant chain, are also making similar efforts.

Tatsuya Murakami, regional manager of the restaurant chain "Dreamlink", said, "We thought about what we could do for Ukrainians in need and decided to support 30% of their sales. I want you to use it to protect your life. "
