As the Russian military invaded Ukraine, Ukrainian food was offered at a cafe in Aoba Ward, Sendai City to donate sales to help local people.

At the cafe in Ichibancho, Aoba-ku, Sendai, we plan to offer the traditional Ukrainian dish "Wale Niki" and donate half of the sales to get interested in the situation in Ukraine.

"Wale Niki" is made by wrapping ingredients in a dough made by kneading yogurt into flour, and the cafe serves it as a dessert that wraps strawberries and red bean paste.

It was offered for 4 days only from the 11th to the 14th of this month.

Yuka Doi, the owner of the cafe "Adapt", said, "We have customers say that it is delicious. I hope that the circle of support for Ukraine will expand as much as possible."

In the future, the cafe will consider specific ways to deliver donations to the local area.
