 performed by Netta Barzilai.

She collected 529 points.

Cyprus and Austria complete the podium with 436 and 342 points respectively.

France, represented by the duo Madame Monsieur and their title

Mercy

, ranks 13th with 173 points. 


The song

Toy

evokes freedom of speech for harassment victims and the #MeToo movement.

Since being revealed, she had been a heavy favorite for the overall victory.

Twenty-six countries were in the race

Twenty-six countries were in the running for this 63rd edition of the competition.

The Altice Arena stage thus saw a succession of a Ukrainian vampire, an Estonian soprano, Hungarian rockers, an Australian pop star... A Prévert-style inventory of European - and extra-European - music which will have been followed by over 200 million viewers worldwide. 

The evening will have been marked by an incident: the invasion of the stage by an intruder who took the microphone of the British candidate SuRie from the hands in order to protest against the presence of the United Kingdom in the Eurovision song contest after the Brexit.
