Yamaguchi Prefecture and Shimonoseki City announced on the 13th that it was confirmed that 265 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 24,913 cases have been confirmed to be infected in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Shimonoseki City also announced that a total of two people, a man in his 70s and a woman in his 90s, have died.
The number of people who died after being infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture has increased to 151.
