his family announced in a brief statement collected by the US media.

Winner of an Oscar for

"Kiss of the Spider Woman" ("The kiss of the spider woman",

1985), starred in films such as

"Body Heat" ("Fire in the body",

1981) or

"Children of a Lesser God" ("Children of a lesser god",

1986).
