The "Culture Without Borders" initiative has opened a new door for readers and those interested in literature, science and knowledge, to enter into a multi-vision society of readers, and to share their perceptions and experiences in reading. It announced the launch of the activities of the "Reading Culture Friends Club", coinciding with the "National Reading Month 2022". And 50 readers gathered in a discussion session, led by the head of the Cultural and Media Office of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, Salha Obaid Ghabish, and reviewed, during the club's first activities, the most prominent ideas and visions from which the book is based, and stopped at constructive aesthetics in content, language and style.
Under the title "Challenges of Cultural Reading Clubs", the club, which continues throughout the year, gathered its participants in a brainstorming session, to determine the mechanisms and methods to be followed to ensure the greatest benefit from the experiences of discussing books and exchanging visions about them, and to review the cognitive and creative impact that participants can They earn from joining reading clubs.
During the event, a reading session was also held, in which the two children, Sultan Al-Badi and Ghaya Al-Ahbabi, participated in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and interaction.
The Director of "Culture Without Borders", Maryam Al Hammadi, confirmed that the club focuses on building a database for lovers of reading, ensuring their continuity and developing their skills in it, and contributing to the promotion of societal reading behavior, by expanding the circle of the reading public to new groups, which the club seeks to encourage them to read. and integrating them into the community of readers, such as housewives, mothers, and retirees, with the aim of motivating individuals and families to expand their knowledge.
