The inhabitants of Seine-Saint-Denis will be able to enjoy a new green space from May 14.

Part of the Parc du Plateau d'Avron will indeed be accessible to the public for the first time on this date.

Eventually, the Ile-de-France green lung will extend over 26 hectares between Rosny-sous-Bois and Neuilly-Plaisance (Seine-Saint-Denis), announces Actu Seine-Saint-Denis.

Cost spread

Only a 15-hectare section will be open in the spring of 2022. The remaining part is still far from being ready and its development is “in its early stages”, we informed Rosny-sous-Bois.

The project managers decided on a two-stage handover to spread the cost of the land purchase and the works over time.

The park will allow walks for pedestrians and horse riders.

It will also offer play areas for children, a fitness trail and a 4-hectare biodiversity preservation area in the center of the site.

The initial project planned to open in 2020.
