  [Explanation] In July 2014, the first batch of 1,000 public bicycles in Xiamen was put into use in Huli District, marking the official launch of the public bicycle system in Xiamen Island.

Different from shared bicycles, public bicycles are free to ride within 1 hour, and consumers need to use fixed lock piles to access and park public bicycles.
