This Wednesday, March 9, M6 broadcast the fourth episode of season 13 of
Top Chef
.
Like every week,
20 Minutes
debriefs the highlights of the episode broadcast the day before.
Pressure, shot, cromesquis and laser cooking are back for the new season of
Top Chef
.
The thirteenth edition of the M6 culinary competition no longer relies on "daring" or "creativity" as in previous years, but quite simply on the radical side of the universe of its candidates and its trials to bring out the worthy successor to Mohamed Sheikh.
A regular in the show's kitchens came to judge the first test of this new episode.
Alexandre Mazzia, 3-star chef, asked the candidates to make a dessert with unlikely combinations.
Melon and capers, avocado and banana, chocolate and bacon, flavors that were hard to imagine together.
However, the competitors all rose to the challenge, including Lucie.
Eyes were particularly focused on the chef who had a history with the judge of the day: several years ago, she refused a position he had offered her.
Did she manage to make amends?
In the rest of the episode, Andoni Aduriz asked people still in the race to prepare a savory or sweet recipe around a unique frozen element.
Chilli ice cream, nitrogen-smoked herring bone, fig water granita, there was something for everyone (not ours anyway).
Who won both events?
Who failed to qualify?
All this is to be discovered on video in the debrief of this fourth episode.
Don't watch if you don't want to be spoiled!
