The case is a 40-year-old female, a salesperson from Kapok International Garment City, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. She began to have symptoms of dry cough and runny nose on the 7th. On the 9th, the nucleic acid test result of the new coronavirus during the personnel investigation in key places was positive. After review, a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (mild) in the early morning of the 10th has been closed-loop transferred to the Eighth Hospital Affiliated to Guangzhou Medical University overnight. The current condition is stable.
Information from the Guangzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention shows that the cases reported today are from Kapok International Garment City, Yuexiu District, one of the key places where the foreign cases reported the previous day passed through. (BA.1.1 evolutionary branch); On the afternoon of March 6, the two cases greeted and chatted at a close distance in front of the sales stall of the Kapok International Clothing City, and the cases did not wear masks during the chat.
As of 14:00 on March 10, Guangzhou has checked a total of 470 close contacts and 334 semi-secret people, all of which have taken measures such as nucleic acid testing and health management; a total of 3,254 people in key places have been checked and all have been assigned yellow codes.
