A study conducted by the Hauts-de-Seine department looks at the habits of car, truck and two-wheeler drivers in the area.

The investigation began on Monday and will last until May 20.

The data is collected on 100 strategically chosen sites and spread over 26 municipalities, specifies Actu Hauts-de-Seine.

Questions are asked to road users passing by.

The number of information collection points makes the project the largest European study of its kind, the department said.

Among the cities where drivers will be interviewed are Boulogne-Billancourt, Sèvres, Montrouge, Antony, Meudon, Rueil-Malmaison, Villeneuve-la-Garenne, Clichy, Nanterre, Levallois-Perret and Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine). -Seine).

Choose future developments

Investigators ask their questions in particular to people stopped at a red light or traveling during rush hour.

The goal is to “analyze travel patterns,” the Department said.

The findings will make it possible to adapt the travel model to the current needs of users through new developments.
