The newly infected people are all those who have been centrally quarantined and controlled, and no community spread of the disease has been found.
After whole genome sequencing, this round of outbreak was caused by the Omicron (Omicron) variant strain (BA.2 evolutionary branch).
In order to strictly prevent the spread of the epidemic, Yuncheng has adopted health code assignment measures for risk groups. As of 8:00 on March 8, the Linyi epidemic has accumulated 215,614 people, including 8,588 red codes and 207,026 yellow codes.
