It turns out that the manuscript written by Shintaro Ishihara, who was an Akutagawa Prize-winning author and governor of Tokyo and died on the 1st of last month, was entrusted to the publisher, and his feelings of swaying toward death are being continued.

The manuscript was entrusted to Bungei Shunju, published by Nobuhiro Ishihara, the fourth son, in the middle of last month after Mr. Ishihara died.

In this, Mr. Ishihara was told by a doctor last October that pancreatic cancer had recurred and had a life expectancy of about 3 months, and he said, "Since then, my nerves have torn."

He added, "Death, which was also the subject of my literature, has become more familiar. Death has fallen into a dwarf thing that makes me want to throw it away."

In response to the sentenced death from pancreatic cancer, Mr. Ishihara said, "The only thing I can do to the gods and Buddha here is to say that the suffering can be alleviated." It is written.

And after the Akutagawa Prize-winning "season of the sun," he said, "because the sun will set someday." I want to die with compassion, "he said.

This manuscript is entitled "The Road to Death" and will be published in the April issue of the monthly magazine "Bungei Shunju" released on the 10th.
