Matt Reeves announces cancellation of 'Batman' spin-off

Since 2020, HBO and Matt Reeves have been working on a spin-off series focusing on Gotham City's corrupt police.

In the heart of madness

Nevertheless, the city of Bruce Wayne is always very present in the agenda of Matt Reeves.

“The idea is that Gotham is a full-fledged character in the film.

I really want Arkham to exist as a character, so we go into that environment and come across these characters in a really new way.

And so, in our work on Gotham, that story started to evolve and we felt like that was really where it needed to be headed.
