Kagawa Prefecture announced on the 9th that it was confirmed that 428 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
It was also announced that a man in his 80s who had been receiving medical treatment died.
A total of 20,052 people were confirmed infected in Kagawa Prefecture, and 86 people died.
