The 15,000 volunteers of the e-Nable association, created in the United States in 2013, manufacture assistive devices for the disabled using 3D printers.

One of the members of the group offered a prosthesis of this type to Lou-Ange, a 9-year-old girl living in Sedan (Ardennes) and suffering from a malformation in her right hand.

A Happy Birthday

The girl's older brother contacted the resident of Brieulles-sur-Bar (Ardennes), explaining to him the situation of his sister as she approached her tenth birthday, says

The child had only one finger on his right hand at birth.

“I will be able to tie my laces, grab glasses, do more things

” rejoiced the young girl after receiving the object.

This is the third hand in resin that the Ardennais has created using his 3D printer.

It has already equipped a 72-year-old man who suffered an accident at work and a little boy from Namur (Belgium).

Each prosthesis costs him €50 and requires around thirty hours of work.
