After possible vaccinations with saline solution instead of corona vaccine, the Oldenburg public prosecutor's office has brought charges against a former employee of the vaccination center in Schortens (Friesland district).

The woman is accused of assault in 15 cases, as a spokesman for the public prosecutor announced on Tuesday.

According to the indictment, in April last year the nurse at the time filled 15 syringes either exclusively with saline solution or diluted the vaccine so much with saline solution that it was no longer effective.

According to the investigation, the syringes were then used by other employees who knew nothing about the actions of the accused.

15 people are said to have received injections without an effective vaccine.

According to the public prosecutor, the background to the woman's alleged actions was that she was critical of the measures taken to contain the corona pandemic.

The accusation of bodily harm results from the fact that the 15 people affected had consented to being pricked with a hypodermic needle for a corona vaccination.

However, there was no consent for vaccination with an ineffective substance.

Since the accused did not inject the syringes herself, she is accused of indirect perpetration of bodily harm.

The district court of Oldenburg decides on the progress of the criminal proceedings.
