A company in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, which plans and sells household goods, has started a support activity to donate the sales of coasters with the Ukrainian flag to Ukraine.

In Tsubame, where manufacturing is thriving, "Aoyoshi," who plans and sells household goods such as tableware and spoons, has begun to support Ukraine with a message of anti-war.

The company handles coasters designed with the flags of 103 countries around the world, of which all sales of the coasters with the Ukrainian flag will be donated through the Ukrainian embassy.

Coasters cost 1000 yen per set, and they are sold at the company's online store, and about 80% of the 100 sets in stock have already been sold.

On the 8th, employees were working on wrapping the coaster for shipping.

The company plans to increase production of another 600 sets by the 10th of next month.

President Shuji Aoyagi said, "I think there are things that can only be done in a manufacturing town, so I hope that the circle of support will expand steadily. I hope that peace will return as soon as possible."
