The International Publishers Association announced the launch of the International Publishers Association Academy, which aims to provide the necessary support for publishers and their associations, to ensure their adaptation to global changes, through a set of educational resources in contemporary publishing mechanisms, starting with publishing e-books, promoting e-commerce, and integrating easy works. digital, and social media marketing.

The launch of the academy comes thanks to the efforts of Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi, President of the International Publishers Association, who works within the union’s directions to reduce the negative effects of the “Covid-19” pandemic on the publishing industry, and enable workers in the industry to face challenges.

The Academy begins its activities under the auspices of the Sharjah Book Authority, and in cooperation with the Publishing Center of the College of Professional Studies at New York University in the United States, the Oxford International Publishing Center and the Publishing Training Center in the United Kingdom.
