On the occasion of the celebration of International Women's Day, a man from the coastal city of Da Nang in central Vietnam decided to present a woman from his relatives with a special gift, a "bouquet" of roses and gold pieces, worth more than 7 billion Vietnamese dong (307,000 US dollars). ).

And the Vietnamese newspaper, VN Express, reported that the man brought 100 pieces of gold and went with them, on Sunday, to a flower shop, and asked the owner of the store to prepare the unique bouquet.

It is noteworthy that one of the rectangular pieces of gold brought by the man weighed 37.5 grams (1.2 ounces).

The owner of the store, called Long Te Jiao, said that the man paid her 20 million Vietnamese dong for the preparation of the bouquet, explaining that he told her that the bouquet was a gift to a woman in the southern city of Can Tou, on the occasion of International Women's Day.

It is worth noting that "International Women's Day" falls on the eighth of March every year, and it has been celebrated since 1921, out of respect for women and in gratitude for their scientific and practical achievements in various fields.
