A total of 28,701 people were confirmed to be infected in Nagasaki Prefecture, excluding the crew of the cruise ship moored at Nagasaki Port.
In addition, Nagasaki City announced that it was infected with the new coronavirus and one person who was undergoing medical treatment died.
The number of infected people who died in the prefecture is now 111.
