Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 8th that it was confirmed that 636 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The prefecture also announced that two newly hospitalized people had died.
The total number of infected people in Miyagi prefecture was 45,457, and the total number of people who died was 154.
