A large stained glass supervised by Keiko Takemiya, a manga artist from Tokushima City, was installed at Tokushima Airport and was released on the 7th.

This stained glass was donated by the Japan Traffic Culture Association to Tokushima Airport, and the ceremony was attended by about 20 people involved, including Keiko Takemiya (72), a manga artist from Tokushima City, and Governor Iizumi.

When the white curtain on the work was lowered with a signal, a magnificent stained glass work 2.7 meters long and 9 meters wide was released, and the venue was applauded.

Named "ZOMEKI □ -Eternal Two Beats-", this work depicts a dancer performing an Awa Odori against the backdrop of "Naruto Whirlpools" and the characters of Mr. Takemiya's work watching the situation.

Yoshio Morimoto, president of Tokushima Airport Building Co., Ltd., said, "Thanks to her work, it has become a quaint airport worthy of the nickname" Tokushima Awaodori Airport "."

Mr. Takemiya, who supervised the work, said, "I would be happy if people who saw the work could remember the charm of Awa Odori."

This stained glass is on display in the departure lobby on the 3rd floor of Tokushima Airport.
