Moscow announces local ceasefires for the evacuation of civilians in Ukraine

To allow the evacuation of civilians, Ukraine expects this Tuesday morning the establishment of local ceasefires.

Russia announced on Monday evening the establishment of these "from 10 a.m. Moscow time (8 a.m. Paris time) on March 8" in Kiev, as well as in the cities of Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherniguiv and Mariupol, according to a statement from the cell of the Russian Ministry of Defense, in charge of humanitarian operations in Ukraine.

According to Moscow, the new evacuation routes had to be communicated to the Ukrainian authorities, so that they could give their agreement before 3 am.

But no information concerning this response had filtered past this deadline.
