After her cover of Orelsan in 2019, her rewrite of
Kid
d'Eddy de Pretto in 2020 or her mini-album in 2021, Barbara Pravi unveiled her traditional song for International Women's Rights Day.
This year it is a
Prayer for oneself
in which the singer invokes her inner "warrior" "for the days when the immense loneliness will be there in [her] body and in [her] heart".
“Because this year my life changed overnight, because it was just as grandiose and sublime as it was terrifying and morally hard, I wrote the
Prayer for oneself
, she explains in description of the video of the song uploaded to youtube.
To never forget in moments of sadness that the warrior in me has seen others, and that she can recover from anything.
Of all the injustices.

“This prayer is for all those whose voice of the warrior resounds within”
In the 4 minute and 30 second clip that accompanies the song, Barbara Pravi also pays tribute "to the women who inspire her": the "women of [her] daily life".
“To illustrate this new prayer, I invite you to meet the warriors of my daily life.
Those I see acting, living, those I admire.
Those who exist for real, here, now, and who fight, with themselves and others, to be respected, fair, upright, proud,” she wrote.
