The reporter learned from the command center of the Fire Rescue Detachment of Baiyin City, Gansu Province that at 21:45 on the 308th, near the Yellow River Bridge in Mitan Town, Jingyuan County, Baiyin City, a dump truck collided with the deck of the railway bridge, causing it to cross the road. The locomotive derailed and fell into the side ditch of the road.
After the accident, the Baiyin City Fire Rescue Detachment Command Center has dispatched 46 fire rescue personnel and 8 fire trucks from the Ulan Fire Station, the Central Fire Station, and the Western Special Service Station to deal with the incident.
According to the on-site personnel, one person was trapped in the locomotive, and fire rescue personnel are stepping up their rescue.
