A real estate agent in Amiens (Somme) wants a street in the city to bear the name of the iconic 1 p.m. presenter.

This is indeed where the TF1 journalist who died on Wednesday was born.

The citizen proposal, put online this Sunday, aroused the support of more than a thousand Internet users in eight hours and was relayed in several local media, reports France 3 Hauts-de-France.

This gesture would be an opportunity to celebrate the memory of one of the most famous Amiens, with Emmanuel Macron and Jules Verne, estimated the thirty-something.

The creator of the citizens' initiative has nevertheless already indicated that he would like the street to be near the cathedral.
