Tochigi Prefecture and Utsunomiya City announced on the 7th that a total of 312 people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The total number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 49,492.
The prefecture also announced that two new patients have died, bringing the total number of deaths in the prefecture to 209.
