The question of how long the tasks of the Russian special operation in Ukraine can be solved, which, as Russian President Vladimir Putin said, is going according to plan, remains unanswered.

It remains unclear how exactly the political reconfiguration of Ukraine after eight years of Euromaidan, inevitable after the defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the destruction of Nazi volunteer battalions, will take place.

The fighting continues, President Zelensky, along with his entourage, insists that victory will be ours.

Kyiv is preparing for defense.

Moreover, Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova, as if nothing had happened, makes a formidable statement about the preparation of documents to put Tina Kandelaki, Nikita Mikhalkov and Oleg Gazmanov on the wanted list, accused of encroaching on the territorial integrity of the country.

However, take a close look at the news flow, where there are not only fakes.

Start analyzing, comparing information received from reliable sources in order to draw the main conclusion today.

This conclusion will consist in the fact that Zelensky’s team does not have long to repeat the mantras about the European choice.

The project of the "revolution of dignity" has completely exhausted itself - everyone on both sides of the barricades understands this.

It's just that on one side of the barricades they talk about it openly, while on the other they are stubbornly silent.

For Zelensky, his government and the deputy corps, recognition would be akin to betrayal - “zrada”.

But the moment of recognition is inexorably approaching.

Today, when the state of Ukraine is on the verge of a new historical cycle, it is obvious that a completely different country will appear in the place of the current agonizing Ukraine.

Why is this scenario becoming inevitable?

Ukraine has never taken place as a nascent young democracy in the post-Soviet space, which it has positioned itself in the eyes of the West for the past eight years.

As for the project of Ukraine as anti-Russia that took place over the years, today this project has fulfilled its mission (or almost fulfilled it).

By self-destruction, Ukraine valiantly blew up relations between Russia and the West, which allowed the West to impose almost all possible sanctions and punitive measures (except for the refusal of energy carriers, but this measure may not be far off).

But this self-destruction did not leave Ukraine itself a chance for its former existence.

There is plenty of evidence that the West no longer needs President Zelensky’s Ukraine in this form, despite the wave of statements that “we will provide”, “we will direct”, “we will support” - abound.

We need to look at the main semantic things.

These things look like this: after the European Parliament generously awarded President Zelensky with a standing ovation, the EU leadership made it clear that the issue of Ukraine's membership in the European Union is still not on the agenda.

Thus, talks about the possibility of accelerated admission of the country to the EU, initiated by Poland and the Baltic countries, turned out to be a bluff.

Further, none other than British Prime Minister Boris Johnson - perhaps the main Russophobe in international politics - made it clear that no one is going to accept Ukraine into NATO either.

Finally, President Zelensky's frantic calls to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine addressed to NATO were ignored by the leadership of the alliance.

In principle, it could not be otherwise - a positive decision would inevitably be perceived by Moscow as the entry of the alliance into the conflict on the side of Ukraine.

With all the ensuing consequences.

NATO did not dare to cross the red line and start butting heads with the nuclear power.

Nevertheless, President Zelensky for some reason expected that it would be different, and when no no-fly zone worked out, he could not control his emotions, betraying to the allies in full what he thinks about their cowardice.

It is still unclear why he suddenly believed or who inspired him that NATO could start a war with Russia over Ukraine.

In general, with membership in the EU and NATO - a complete bummer, as before.

The Russian special operation in Ukraine did not improve Kyiv's chances of integrating into the Euro-Atlantic community.

The official status of one of the 16 main US allies outside NATO, which Ukraine has, has not been converted into some kind of decisive support provided to the allies in a critical situation.

In this regard, it is time to ask the main question: what did you fight for?

The Euromaidan project has been blown away, it can no longer be raised, the United States and the West do not intend to shoulder the burden of responsibility for Ukraine.

Today it has become clearer than ever.

As for the “anti-Russia” project, it can be preserved for the future as a symbolic international PR platform that no longer affects the future of Ukraine.

It is no coincidence that The Washington Post published a leak that Washington was ready to consider a scenario where Vladimir Zelensky would head a "government in exile."

In general, the Biden administration seems to be beginning to understand that the Euromaidan train is leaving, although out of inertia they are promising something else to Kiev.

Let's face it: the Euromaidan train has left, soon President Biden and Secretary of State Blinken will understand this completely.

Therefore, it is time for President Zelensky to pack his bags, as The Washington Post has already hinted at.
