Doctors and specialists have warned of the increase in cases of “diabetic foot” amputation globally, which is estimated at tens of cases every minute, stressing that 85 percent of the amputation of the “diabetic foot” can be avoided, through training specialists and relying on innovative techniques and disinfectants.

They explained during the International Conference on Wound Care in Abu Dhabi that the reason for the increase in amputations is the neglect of foot ulcers, the lack of awareness of the danger of these ulcers, in addition to the lack of reliance on modern techniques for treating wounds.

The conference recommended doctors to focus on early disinfection with modern techniques that contribute to wound healing and ulcer treatment.

The conference presented the "Dermasin" technology, an innovative technology made of oxygenated water, used to treat clinical ulcers, treat "diabetic foot", treat wounds, and reduce limb amputations.
