Miyagi Prefecture and Sendai City announced on the 7th that it was confirmed that 407 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The prefecture also announced that one newly hospitalized person had died.
The total number of infected people in Miyagi prefecture was 44,821, and the total number of people who died was 152.
