Gigi Hadid is committed to Ukraine and Palestine.

The star, who has had a frenetic schedule for the past few weeks, chaining shows at Fashion Week in Paris, Milan and New York, announced that she wanted to walk the catwalk "for something".

The model has therefore decided to donate everything she has won during this fashion month to organizations that help people in distress in these regions.

“Having a fixed calendar for fashion month meant that my colleagues and I often presented new collections during heartbreaking and traumatic periods in history.

We don't have control over most of our work schedules, but we'd like to walk 'for' something,” she said on Instagram.

Peace, peace, peace

Gigi Hadid explains that she took the example of her colleague Mica Arganaraz to make donations.

“I pledge to donate my proceeds from the Fall 2022 shows to help those suffering from the war in Ukraine, and to continue supporting those going through the same in Palestine.

Our eyes and our hearts must be open to all human injustices,” she added.

And to conclude: “May we all see each other as brothers and sisters, beyond politics, race and religion.

In the end, it is innocent lives that pay for war – not rulers.

DO NOT TOUCH UKRAINE.

DO NOT TOUCH PALESTINE.

PEACE.

PEACE.

PEACE ".

Gigi Hadid's father, Mohammed, is of Palestinian descent.
