A juvenile dolphin was stranded on Saturday on the beach of Saint Quiriou, in Trédrez-Locquémeau (Côtes-d'Armor).
The site is near the Pointe du Dourven.
The body of the animal was discovered by walkers, near an area covered with rocks in the middle of the day.
Another young dolphin found a month ago
The cetacean measured about 1m50, reports Le Trégor.
A month to the day earlier, the remains of another dolphin had been found not far from there, on the coast of the department, in Trégastel (Côtes-d'Armor), on the beach of Coz Pors.
Again, it was a young animal, even a baby.
This one measured about 1m20, details the local media.
Traces of injuries had been observed on the body, suggesting that the mammal could have been hit by a boat propeller or caught in a fishing net.
