Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture, started mass vaccination on the 6th jointly with two neighboring towns in an attempt to promote the vaccination of the new coronavirus vaccine for children.

The mass inoculation for children, which started at Kakogawa City Hall, was carried out jointly with Harima Town and Inami Town, which are adjacent to Kakogawa City, and about 60 11-year-old children visited with their parents in the morning.

Vaccination of children began on March 1 in Hyogo Prefecture, but the number of pediatricians is limited in the three cities and towns that have a total of about 20,000 children aged 5 to 11 years old. In the meantime, we are jointly inoculating a group to promote efficient inoculation.

The inoculation on the 6th was intended for 11-year-old children, and at the venue, they were inoculated after being interviewed by a doctor while being accompanied by a guardian.

A fifth grade girl said, "I thought she would hurt, but she was relieved because it didn't hurt so much. She wants to go to school and play a lot with her friends from tomorrow."

Yasuhiro Yodo, chief of the Kakogawa City Community Medical Division, said, "The children are relaxed because they are asking their parents to accompany them, and the inoculation is proceeding smoothly. If there is, I would like you to fully consider it, such as consulting with your doctor. "
