According to the police, in May 2017, five years before his current position, the former mayor leaked the minimum undisclosed price to the contractor in advance in a bid for the construction of a submarine water pipe connecting remote islands, and the following year 3 There is a suspicion of weighted bribery for receiving a bribe of 10 million yen in cash in return for the month.



In addition, five people, including employees of a major plant maker and subcontractors, were re-arrested on suspicion of violating the Public Relations Prevention Law, alleging that they had bid based on information from the former mayor.
