An event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Shigeru Mizuki, a manga artist who left behind works such as "GeGeGe no Kitaro," was held in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture, inviting Mr. Mizuki's family.

Shigeru Mizuki, a manga artist who died seven years ago, was born in 1922 in the 11th year of the Taisho era, and is now 100 years old.

Mizuki's wife, Nunoe Mura (90), and other family members were invited to the "Birthday Festival" held at the "Mizuki Shigeru Memorial Hall" in Sakaiminato City on the 6th before March 8th. We celebrated the 100th anniversary of our birth with Governor Hirai of Tottori Prefecture, who was named "Kitarou", Mayor of Sakaiminato City, who was named "Neko Musume", and more than 200 fans who gathered there.
