German musician, leader of the metal band Rammstein, Till Lindemann, has canceled his concerts in Moscow and Novosibirsk, scheduled for December 11 and 5.

The artist did not name the reasons for the cancellation.

At the same time, Lindemann's tour is expected to include performances in Kyiv, Riga, Prague and Bratislava.

A day earlier, the British heavy metal band Iron Maiden announced the cancellation of upcoming concerts in Moscow and Kyiv.

Their show also featured performances by Airbourne, rockers from Australia, and Lord of the Lost from Germany.

“We are very sorry to inform you that due to the current situation in Ukraine, the organizers have canceled two Iron Maiden concerts that were supposed to take place on May 29 in Kyiv and June 1 in Moscow as part of the 2022 world tour ... Our priority has always been and always there will be the safety of our fans, ”the musicians said on the social network.

The Legacy Of The Beast Tour, timed to coincide with the release of the video game, began in 2018.

We are taking this step as a sign of support for our community,” the group wrote on their Twitter page.

The other day it became known about the cancellations of performances on Park Live by The Killers, Placebo and Biffy Clyro, as well as Iggy Pop.

Earlier, the popular American indie rock band Imagine Dragons announced the cancellation of concerts.

"In light of recent events, we are sad to announce that our shows in Russia and Ukraine are canceled until further notice," the group's Twitter post reads.

A similar statement was made in late February by British singer and former One Direction lead singer Louis Tomlinson, who also withdrew from performing amid the events in Ukraine.

The first solo concert of the musician in Russia was to take place on July 6, 2022 at the Crocus City Hall.

“I am sad to announce that my concerts in Moscow and Kyiv have been canceled until further notice.

The artists noted that "now there is no time for stadium rock concerts and there are things much more important"‎.

They were joined by the American duo Twenty One Pilots.

The musicians were going to perform in the capital on July 10 in support of their sixth album, Scaled and Icy.

“In connection with the current tragic events, we are very sad to announce the cancellation of our concert in Moscow.

This news seems insignificant against the backdrop of all the seriousness of what is happening.

Peace will prevail.

We hope to be able to visit you again soon," the duo tweeted.

Also among the rockers who refused their concerts in Russia are the British Bring Me The Horizon.

The team had scheduled performances in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg.

In parallel with the numerous cancellations of concerts in Russia, there are a number of layoffs and boycotts.
