Nagasaki Prefecture and others announced on the 5th that it was newly confirmed that a total of 314 people in the prefecture were infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 27,874 people were confirmed to be infected in Nagasaki Prefecture, excluding the crew of the cruise ship moored at Nagasaki Port.
Nagasaki Prefecture also announced that one person who was being treated was killed after being infected with the new corona.
The number of infected people who died in the prefecture is now 109.
