The Fifth Session of the Thirteenth National People's Congress is the first since the revision of the NPC's rules of procedure last year.
The revised rules of procedure reduce the number of deliberation links for the "Draft Proposed Voting Draft", which is conducive to improving deliberation efficiency.
The new rules of procedure also standardized the voting methods, and stipulated the establishment of relevant spokespersons and the delegation's acceptance of news media interviews.
During this year's conference, the representatives' suggestions will be formally submitted and sub-organized through the information platform for the first time.
It is foreseeable that this conference will be more streamlined, efficient, open and transparent, showing China's attitude of openness and self-confidence.
