The Balzac Russian Film Festival is postponed.

Initially scheduled from March 21 to 29 in this cinema in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, the event has been postponed "to a later date", according to the cinema at

.

The reason for this postponement is the outbreak of war in Ukraine by Russia.

According to a member of the Balzac team, the name of this event “When the Russians travel” should also be changed.

Two feature and short film competitions in the presence of directors were planned, as was a “zoom” on Russian actor Youri Borissov.

Three films by author Marc Donskoï who died in 1981 and the entire series, unpublished in France, 

Petrovka 38

 were also to be screened during the festival.
