"We chose to place the credits when the scenario changes to put the viewer in condition and warn him that the tone of the story is going to change", specifies Lauryn Kahn, ex-assistant of Adam McKay who co-produces the film,

“The representation of human meat was a challenge, insists Mimi Cave.

She had to look appetizing at first glance but look strange enough that the audience quickly felt disgusted.

A chef had been hired as a technical adviser so that the cutting of the flesh was realistic and that the dishes could be eaten by the actors.

"When I was writing the script, I really wondered if we were going to be able to represent all of this in a bearable way and Mimi found the perfect balance to show just the right amount.

If the film is to be reserved for an informed public because of its theme, it never descends into repulsive gore and keeps enough perspective not to be sickening.

Fresh

proves to be fierce in describing the relationships between men and women.

"That's what we were trying to describe," insists Mimi Cave.

This story can be taken as a metaphor for human relationships.

His originality and his rather cheeky way of presenting love are most heartening.

They could make you want to consider the loved one while licking their chops.
