Prayer is the Ascension of the Believers

Among the honor of God Almighty for this Muhammadan nation is that He made the secret of its servitude to Him, Glory be to Him, in the prayer that God Almighty honored with on the night of the Ascension of His Prophet, the Chosen One, peace and blessings be upon him, to Him. It was imposed by the ambassador of revelation, Gabriel, peace be upon him, like all the other duties of Islam such as zakat, fasting, pilgrimage, and so on, to demonstrate the greatness of its status with Him, Glory be to Him, so that the duty bearers feel that it is the core of their servitude to Him, and to the extent that they maintain it, their status will be with the Almighty.

There is no sin, for it is the believer’s ascension to his Lord, Glory be to Him, and that is why the worshiper addresses his Lord in a speech of struggle, saying: “It is You we worship and You we seek help.” Because he is standing before his Lord, sensing His majesty and greatness, and his heart is filled with awe and fear, as our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: If he stands in his prayer, he is conversing with his Lord, or his Lord is between him and the qiblah.” As narrated by the two sheikhs from the hadith of Anas, may God be pleased with him, and the meaning is that he is now in the position of closeness to his Lord, the Exalted, the Majestic, near the conjure, not near a place, as he said in the hadith that he narrated Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The slave is closest to his Lord when he is prostrating, so make supplications a lot,” which is indicated by the words of our Lord, the Exalted:“And prostrate and draw near” meaning that the closeness to God Almighty and to Him is by prostrating before Him, while sensing His greatness, and extending the servant’s need to Him. As soon as he was around two corners or less, his Lord greeted him by saying: Good and blessed greetings..etc. Then his Lord greeted him with better than them when he said: Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and God’s mercy and blessings, and in that great position the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not forget his nation. : Peace upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah..

The believer in this prayer is spiritually in the presence of Al-Quds, so if his limbs are humbled and his heart is filled with the majesty of God Almighty, God will write for him success in his religion and this world, as God Almighty said: The prayer that he loved from him, as he says in the hadith Qudsi: “I divided the prayer between me and My servant in two, and my servant will have what he asked. If the servant says: Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, God Almighty says: My servant has praised me, and if he says: Most Merciful, Most Merciful, God Almighty says: Praise Ali is my servant, and if he says: Owner of the Day of Judgment, he says: My servant glorifies me, and if he says: You do we worship and you we seek help, he said: This is between me and My servant, and my servant has what he asked, and when he says: Guide us to the straight path, the path of those whom You have blessed, not those who are angry, nor those who go astray. He said: This is for My servant, and for My servant what he asked.” As Muslim narrated from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him.

This means that God Almighty honors the worshiper with what befits his generosity and existence, as He honored His Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, on the night of his ascension with such closeness and transfiguration.

And since prayer is such a great honor, the honorable Sharia did not allow it to be left in any case for the one who was charged with the pen of assignment, so that he would not miss this divine manifestation with giving, grace and honor. It is underestimated by the one who knows his destiny, rather he takes it with pride and pride, as it was from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who accepted from his Lord what he honored him with with his weight. As he accepted from his friend Abraham, upon him and upon our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the sincerity of being close to him by slaughtering his son, so he accepted the sincerity of compliance, and he ransomed his son Ismail with a great sacrifice, because the Almighty wants his servants to comply in a manner that He commanded, so whoever fulfilled him with sincerity, honor him with acceptance and bestowed upon him with mitigation. .

And the believers who feel this great virtue by standing before Him in prayer, they do not limit themselves to the suppositions, but rather they multiply the supererogatory prayers of rak’ahs and prostrations;

For their knowledge of the honor of these shrines.

Our Lord, make us among those who establish prayer and accept prayers.
