American actress Farrah Forke, best known for her role in the
Lois and Clark
series , died at the age of 54 from cancer on February 25 at her home in Houston, Texas.

Farrah Forke rose to prominence in the 1990s with the role of a helicopter pilot, Alex Lambert, in two seasons of the series

, before appearing in the costume of Mayson Drake, the assistant district attorney of Metropolis in the second season of the hit series

.
Those around her said in a statement that "Farrah was fierce, tender, loyal, loving, strong, funny, intelligent, protective, kind, passionate and totally irreplaceable."
“She brought such great light to the world that even after her death the light remains,” it read.
