According to police reports, a man was killed on a street in Bonn on Friday.
A police spokesman said witnesses called 911 at around 5:30 a.m. because a person was lying on the ground, bleeding heavily.
Despite all the efforts of the rescue workers, the 58-year-old died at the scene.
According to initial findings, his serious injuries were caused by stab wounds.
Witnesses said they heard an argument earlier and saw a man running away.
The search for the suspect is ongoing and a homicide commission is investigating.
Since there is an S-Bahn station near the scene of the crime in the Limperich district, the police are hoping for more witnesses.
