At about 11:40 on March 2, the first railway freight train of materials supplied to Hong Kong from the Mainland arrived in Hong Kong, adding a "new channel" to the cross-border transportation of aid to Hong Kong.

According to reports, the first train has a total of nine cargo trucks, mainly carrying anti-epidemic and anti-epidemic materials.

The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government stated that it will continue to promote and implement various measures to effectively ensure the stability of materials supplied to Hong Kong with relevant parties in the Mainland, and actively optimize the operation of cross-border delivery of materials.
