After a ban on Russia Today in Germany, threats to remove the antenna in France and the United Kingdom, then across the European Union, the two Russian media Russia Today and Sputnik are now inaccessible.

They no longer broadcast in the European Union and have disappeared from social networks.

End clap for Russia Today and Sputnik.

The two Russian media, threatened with suppression for several days, no longer broadcast in the European Union.

This follows the decision of the EU to ban these media accused of propaganda and distortion of facts.

The President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen made an announcement to this effect during a speech held last Sunday on the war in Ukraine.

Recovery possible, but subject to conditions

After a series of progressive bans on social networks, the sites of RT France and Sputnik are now inaccessible in France.

These outlets also disappeared from TV networks and Twitter also eventually deleted their accounts.

Russia Today had already been banned in Germany last month, and was threatened with the same fate in France and the United Kingdom.

In the official journal of the European Union, it is stated that these interdiction measures should be maintained until Russian aggression against Ukraine comes to an end, and until the Russian Federation and its associated media stop carrying out propaganda actions against the European Union and its Member States.
