For the past few months, the inhabitants of Chartrettes (Seine-et-Marne) have been regularly criss-crossing the streets of their village in search of painted pebbles.
They thus follow a movement called Love On The Rock, born across the Channel during the first confinement, explains
La République de Seine-et-Marne
.
The phenomenon arrived in France thanks to social networks.
It consists of decorating pebbles and then hiding them around your home.
People who find them must then photograph them and post the pictures on the Facebook group listed on the back and then hide the object again.
A tracked pebble
The idea is to follow the journey of his pebble.
In Chartrettes, Déborah Vollereau launched the movement a year and a half ago.
The inhabitants got caught up in the game. Since last summer, the Francilienne would have deposited between 500 and 600 pebbles in her town and launched a dedicated Facebook page, Le Sentier des Galets.
